Partial In Ground Pool

MAGIC PARTIALLY IN GROUND — WHAT?

If you have a sloping yard, or an existing elevated deck, you will immediately see the benefit of having your pool installed partially in the ground. With the Magic Pool, you can literally install one end of the pool level with the ground and have the other end completely above grade.

Other fiberglass pools are constructed as a thin shell that is sandwiched by the pressure of the earth on the outside of the pool and the pressure of the water from the inside of the pool. We have designed the Magic to be self-supporting in all circumstances, making pool ownership possible for a wide range of customers who never dreamed they could have a pool without costly retaining walls and extensive drainage.

The above pool was installed 2 feet partially in ground to meet the existing deck at the back of the house, giving the pool an “in ground” feel.

The advantages of a pool installed partially in the ground are similar to those mentioned in the previous “Above Ground” section. Some of these advantages include:

  • No retaining walls necessary.
  • Rock or ledge inhibiting proper excavation is easily overcome.
  • Buried services like gas, water, sewage or electric are less of a problem.
  • Improved access for people with mobility issues.

If your yard or situation had you thinking you could never have a pool, it’s time to reconsider. We can make the Magic Pool work just about anywhere!
