Lights, Jets, Covers, Oh My!

Here’s where you get to customize the look and feel of your pool. By adding features such as lights or therapy jets, you can have your own creation, unlike anyone else’s pool. Of course, each addition you make will add incrementally to the overall cost, but like an automobile purchase, you want to make it your own.

Lights

One or more lights in a pool show off your investment in a special way at night time — whether you’re swimming or not. An evening barbecue with friends is made all the more memorable when the pool is lit from inside. Energy efficient LEDs can be had in different colors, or you can choose the ever popular white light. The Magic being a smaller pool, most people opt for a single light, but you can add as many as you’d like. We don’t recommend more than 2 because that’s really all you’ll need.

Water Features

Fountains and waterfalls make an attractive addition to many pools, if you have the space in the yard. The sound of trickling, or even splashing water can be very soothing, even from the open window of your upstairs bedroom. Kids love to play around moving water and adults enjoy the tranquility and special feeling of having their own little oasis.

Therapy Jets

Plumbed with the return side of the pool pump circulation system, you can add additional jets to the Magic Pool, giving it the feeling of a hot tub. We generally recommend installing these additional jets along the end wall where the deep bench sits beside the steps. You can add as many extra jets as you’d like, and with a larger heater, your pool can fell very much like a hot tub!

Swim Current

You can have a play space and an exercise pool, all in one! We want to make sure the athletes have something to look forward to with the Magic Pool, so we offer a swim jet option. With the BaduStream swim jet system, we can add the right amount of current to your pool for your swimming ability, however the system can be adjusted for weaker swimmers or for different kinds of pool exercises, such as jogging in place, or water aerobics.

Swim Tether

Used by Olympic training programs, a swim tether is an economical yet effective way to exercise. While not nearly as fun as a 5000 gallon per minute wall of current forcing you backwards, no one will ever out swim a tether, for the simple reason that you are attached to the end of the pool. This is a highly effective way for a strong swimmer to get a great workout.

Pool Covers

We offer a custom ASTM certified foam cover for the Magic pool that may, in some situations, allow your pool to be classified as a hot tub, precluding fencing requirements in many jurisdictions (check your local ordinances). Not only is this cover lockable, preventing unauthorized access, but because it is insulating foam, will keep your pool efficiently warm through all seasons.

There all kinds of “traditional” covers made for swimming pools and we suggest that, if you want a cover like that, simply head over to a big box store and pick one up. If you want an insulating safety cover, choose the one that’s made for your Magic Pool.
