Above Ground Pool

MAGIC ABOVE GROUND

Virtually unheard of in the fiberglass pool community, our pool can be placed above ground without the use of retaining walls or other on site reinforcements.

There are a number of good reasons for people to choose an above ground installation. Sometimes there is too much ledge or other unsuitable soil conditions for excavation. Many yards have buried services such as water, gas or electric lines – and let’s not forget that septic tank and leach field.

In addition to things that may exist under the ground in many yards, consider the home where the back door is several feet from the ground. This often occurs when the grade at the front of the home is higher than the back. Rather than make a split, or multi-level main floor, instead the builder will have several steps leading from the back door to the ground. In this kind of instance, it makes sense for many homeowners to build a nice deck, into which can be placed a beautiful fiberglass pool!

Yet another reason to choose above ground for the Magic Pool is its portability. Remember, this pool was designed for ease of installation and transportation. If you need to move, you can simply drain your pool, call a truck and have it taken to your next home.

By the way – we don’t want you to install your pool on top of your septic system, but you can place it directly beside the tank or the tiles of your drainage bed.

Another interesting application for above ground, or partially in ground placement is to accommodate people with mobility difficulties. By building a deck around 18″ from the top edge of the lip of the pool, a person in a wheelchair, someone who has balance trouble, or perhaps a bad back can easily perch on the generous edge at the top of the pool and rotate their legs into the water. Many levels of benches and steps are then available to allow whatever depth of water the swimmer desires.

If an above ground pool is in your future, you should consider the beauty and endurance of fiberglass. Contact us with a few good pictures of your yard and we can make you a 3D drawing of how your pool will look at your home.
